Supplemental Life

Offering this policy gives employees the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance. Supplemental life insurance is written into the basic life contract, with the employer paying 100% of the basic life coverage and employees paying 100% of the supplemental life coverage. Supplemental life is often subject to participation and guarantee issue limits, each unique to the employer group.
