Dental Blue Select
Dental Blue Select is a Blue branded Voluntary Dental product, underwritten and marketed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC). All enrollment, membership, claim and billing administration is provided by BCBSNC Dental Blue Select customer service.
This Voluntary Dental offering provides groups with several benefits:
- Low rates and easy payments through payroll deduction
- Prior coverage credit (takeover) available
- Lifetime deductible of $100
- Employees see the dentist they want
- No waiting period for preventive services
Blue 20/20 Vision
To receive a quote for the Blue 20/20 standalone vision product, please provide the following information:
- Name of group
- Effective date
- # of FTE employees (census is not required, but if GEO access is needed please provide zip codes)
- Voluntary or employer sponsored contribution
- Agent name (if applicable)
- Plan design
- Exam Only - choose an exam copay $0, $10, $20 or $25
- Exam Plus - choose an exam copay $0, $10, $20 or $25; choose a lens copay - $10 or $25; Choose a frame and contact lens allowance - $100, $130 or $150; Choose a frame frequency - 12 or 24 months
- Lens & Frame Only - choose a combined lens and frame allowance $200, $250 or $300
